After graduating from École normale supérieure de Lyon and obtaining the agrégation of Physics and a PhD in physics, Mathieu Creyssels joined École Centrale de Lyon in 2009, as associate professor in the Department of fluid mechanics, acoustics, energy. His Research works at the fluid mechanics and acoustics laboratory focus on the heat transfer between a rough wall and a turbulent boundary layer, the development of innovative heat exchangers based on chaotic advection mechanisms, and the study of turbulent and buoyant plumes.
