Jérôme Boudet graduated in Engineering (2000) and obtained his PhD (2003) from École centrale de Lyon. From 2003 to 2005 he was Research Fellow at the University of Surrey (UK) in the Thermo-Fluid Systems University Technology Centre. He obtained his accreditation to supervise research in 2014. Since 2005, he is Associate Professor at École centrale de Lyon, member of the Turbomachines research group within the Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics Laboratory (LMFA – UMR CNRS 5509). His research activities address the large-eddy simulation of turbulence, applied to the internal aerodynamics of turbomachines, and specifically to the separated and vortical flows. His teachings include fluid mechanics, numerical methods and turbomachine aerodynamics. He is cohead of the aeronautical engineering option at École centrale de Lyon.
