Écoles Centrale Group (GEC)
Comprising the Écoles Centrale of Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes and CentraleSupélec, the GEC encourages the harmonisation of educational curricula, the pooling of experience and the use of synergies within international relations. The GEC also includes three international graduate schools: Centrale Pékin, Centrale Casablanca and Mahindra École Centrale.
Objective: Mould students into engineers recognised as archetypes at all levels.

COMUE Université de Lyon
Centrale Lyon was a founding member of the Lyon Higher Education and Research Hub. Today, the institute is part of the COMUE (University and Institute Community), an umbrella organisation of 12 member institutes and 24 associate institutes from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Carnot Institute
In partnership with other higher education and research institutes in the Lyon area, Centrale Lyon has created a Carnot-labelled facility: the Carnot Institute.
Objective: to promote and organise partnership projects directed at applied research and businesses.

Collège des Hautes Études Lyon - Science[s]
Six higher education institutes from Lyon and Saint-Étienne have joined forces to create a network combining their specialities for the betterment of their students’ skills and knowledge. Centrale de Lyon, École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, Sciences Po Lyon, VetAgro Sup, Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon and Ecole des Mines form the Collège des Hautes Études – Lyon Science[s] (CHEL[s]). This network provides the opportunity to pool expertise for the benefit of joint initiatives.
