A European label for researcher mobility
École Centrale de Lyon wholeheartedly welcomes international researchers and doctoral students through its doors as part of its aim to develop international academic partnerships and advance scientific excellence.
In recognition of this fervent hospitality, the institute received the European ‘Human Resources Strategy for Researchers’ (HRS4R) label in July 2020.
A centre dedicated to supporting international researchers
As part of providing quality support to researchers on their arrival and during their residency in France, the Université de Lyon created the Espace ULYS, a joint programme for improving the time spent in France by international doctoral students and researchers.
A team trained in the issues facing the relocation of foreign academics offers services covering the various administrative processes, visas, accommodation, health and other insurance, child schooling, etc.
