Yann Chevolot received his PhD degree in materials science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL, CH) in 1999. From 1999 to 2001, he worked as an assistant of Professor Mathieu at the EPFL. From 2001 to 2004, he worked for Goemar SA, Saint-Malo. In 2004, he joined the CNRS at the Lyon Institute of Nanotechnology (INL). His work concerns nanotechnologies related to health and environment issues, in particular surface chemistry and its characterization, bio-interfaces and the development of biosourced resins for photolithography. He is the co-author of about 110 publications (H-factor 26), 6 patents, 6 book chapters, 10 invited conferences. He is currently research director at CNRS, in charge of the Chemistry and Nanobiotechnologies group (INL) and member of the steering committee of the GDR Bio-interface engineering.
