Graduate of University Claude Bernard - Lyon 1, Eric Blanco took his PhD in Automatic and Signal Processing in 2002. His thesis was focused on problems of deconvolution for uncertain systems in LAGEP Laboratory. In 2003, he obtained a chair as a lecturer at Ecole Centrale de Lyon and AMPERE laboratory. His research has been focused on diagnosis and prognosis. His teaching activities (L3, M1 and M2) focus on standard approach of Automatic Control for linear system (frequencial and state space approaches) and filter design for signal processing. Today, his research activity includes diagnosis, estimation and prediction for complex systems and he manages the Professor Team in Automatic Control and Signal Processing of Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
